Welcome to the website of the Dr Welsh Trust. This first news post features the old village sign which stands as you enter the village from Dunblane. The sign having become weathered and faded through the passing of time, has been carefully restored by Gavin Drummond assisted by Gordon Wilson and Councillor Kleinman, all members of the Friends of Bridge of Allan. Research has established that the sign was manufactured at the old Cornton Foundry along with a second identical sign which was originally situated at the east end of the village around 1952. The sign at the east end of the village was removed many years ago and it is now in the custody of the Trust.

The Dr Welsh Trust holds many historic Bridge of Allan artefacts. Members of the Trust are in attendance at the Bridge of Allan Library every Tuesday morning. They are available to provide access to the artefacts held by the Trust which are held in the Library and answer any queries from the public.
