Minutes of AGMHeld on Thursday 19 October 2023 at 5pm

Craig Mair Trustee, Isabel Steel, Secretary, Peter Gordon, Treasurer, Paul Husband, Bill Kidd, Joan Keen, Sheila McGregor and 8 members of the public

Apologies: Mandy Ross, Marie Britton.

1. Claire Gibbons welcomed those attending and outlined the programme for the evening.
2. Isabel Steel, Secretary reported that regular meetings took place during the past year to progress the work of the Trust. Work continued on cataloguing Malcolm Allan’s bequest and on cataloguing the collection held in Stirling Archives. Joan Keen was thanked for leading and supervising the cataloguing. Isabel outlined the plans for the coming year which include setting up a website.
3. Peter Gordon, Treasurer, reported that expenditure during the year had been on the purchase of filing cabinets and stationery all relating to Malcolm Allan’s bequest. The accounts and Trustees Annual report were available in the room for perusal by everyone.
4. Chris Calder was welcomed to the meeting and gave a fascinating illustrated talk about the work that Mark Stanford, she and their teams of volunteers are doing on restoration of the Well House.
5. Everyone was then invited to partake of tea and baking and to view the accounts and exhibition. Thanks were given to the library staff for all their help in relation to preparing for and setting up the room for the meeting and for providing teas and coffees.
