- Isabel Steel, Secretary reported that regular meetings took place during the past year to progress the work of the Trust. The main achievement had been the launch of a website enabled by a grant from the Bridge of Allan Common Good Fund. There is a weekly presence in the library on a Tuesday to answer queries. Regular exhibitions are put up in the library. We had a stall at the Picnic in the Park in the summer. Work continues on cataloguing and digitising photographs. Thanks were given to the staff of the library and of Stirling Archives for all their support.
- Peter Scott-Gordon, Treasurer, said that the accounts and Trustees Annual report were available in the room for perusal by everyone after the meeting.
- Craig Mair gave a talk on Cleopatra’s Needle and Bridge of Allan and Dr. Crinan Alexander gave a talk on his great, great grandfather, General Sir James E. Alexander who was responsible for bringing the Needle to London.
- Everyone was then invited to partake of tea and baking and to view the accounts and exhibition. Thanks were given to the library staff for all their help in relation to preparing for and setting up the room for the meeting and for providing teas and coffees.
- The meeting closed.
